What is EROM Dental's MINISH warranty?

We apply a 7-year warranty to MINISH, on condition of an annual check-up. MINISH headquarters has no set warranty standard, so this period is our clinic's own standard.

Questions often asked before starting MINISH

What kind of treatment is MINISH?

A laminate-type treatment within ceramic adhesive restoration, which groups overlays, onlays, inlays and laminate veneers. It first looks for ways to trim less and preserve more of the tooth, and is mainly used to refine the shape and color of the front teeth.

Is no tooth trimmed at all for MINISH?

No. Some trimming is involved. The aim is to reduce trimming, not to eliminate it, and the scope varies by case.

Is MINISH possible for everyone?

No. The scope varies by case. The more uneven the teeth, the more trimming may be needed, so with severe malocclusion another approach may be better.

Are there cases where you do not recommend MINISH?

Yes. If your teeth are very uneven, doing MINISH alone may increase tooth reduction, so it is better in the long term to have orthodontic treatment first. Also, for those who want absolutely no tooth reduction, the Chief Director does not recommend MINISH.

What is the MINISH warranty period?

Our MINISH warranty period is 7 years. There is no separate warranty standard set by MINISH headquarters; this warranty is set by EROM Dental itself, and this year we extended it from 5 years to 7 years.

What are the MINISH warranty conditions?

The condition is an annual check-up. Damage caused by the patient and changes requested simply because of a change of mind after agreeing to the shape and color and completing bonding are excluded.

How painful is MINISH?

This is one of the most common questions in consultations. Because the amount of reduction is small, it is generally done without much pain once anesthesia takes effect, but how it feels varies with each person's teeth, so we explain in detail at consultation.

How much of the tooth is trimmed for MINISH?

Reducing tooth trimming is the goal of MINISH, but it is not completely reduction-free; some trimming is involved. The exact extent is decided together at consultation based on your teeth and the result you want.

What is the difference between MINISH and a crown?

MINISH treats the outer surface of the front teeth to improve shape and color, whereas a crown covers the entire tooth. When the sides are not badly damaged and the concern is the appearance of the front teeth, we consider MINISH; when not enough wall remains, we consider a crown.

Where is MINISH applied?

Mainly applied to the outer surface of the front teeth to refine their shape and color. The aim is to reduce trimming, but some trimming is involved.

How much does MINISH cost?

From KRW 980,000. The exact cost is explained in a consultation after an examination of your teeth.

Can MINISH be done without orthodontic treatment?

Unless your teeth are very uneven, it can be done without orthodontic treatment. However, with severe malocclusion, trimming may increase, so it is better in the long term to have orthodontic treatment first.

Is regular maintenance needed after MINISH?

Yes. The warranty conditions also include an annual check-up, so we recommend regular visits after treatment to check the condition.

Can I have a patient-led consultation for MINISH?

Yes. Patient-led care helps you choose treatment that fits your values based on sufficient information, and MINISH is included. We explain using photos, X-rays and, if needed, Q-ray.

Can I follow my MINISH prosthesis through EROM Live?

MINISH is not covered by EROM Live. It applies to all other prostheses, and if you have MINISH, we explain your progress at consultations and visits.

What does MINISH authenticity certification mean?

It refers to MINISH Provider, the name EROM Dental uses after receiving MINISH authenticity certification. Details about certification are on the Authenticity Certification page.
